Comfort: 9.5/10 (I think my eyes are a bit dry from my heater but it didn’t last long! After putting them in a day later the comfort definitely went straight up to a 10/10)

I wasn’t really too sure what to expect out of the pigment in these when I first chose them since my eyes are already relatively hazel I wasn’t certain the green was going to show half as well as it did!

I heard about Solution-Lens from another blogger on tumblr and after hearing what amazing things they had to say I absolutely had to see for myself! Honestly my experience with the staff was absolutely incredible and communication was fast and efficient, they were very clear on what they expected and it was honestly a complete joy to get to have the opportunity!

I’ve had my eyes on the Shinny series (also known as puffy 3-tone) since I saw them advertised on Pinky Paradise which is where I’ve brought a lot of my contacts in the past until I came into contact with KPOP2, UNIQSO and now the ever so wonderful solution-lens! I loved the way the Shinny Series looked in photos so having the chance to get my hands on a pair was a complete blessing.

Usually I wear contacts for cosplay but recently I’ve had them in with causal wear too and I feel like these particular contacts are such a lovely change to what I’m used to since I’ve never owned green before so it’s a massive treat! I’m not usually the worlds biggest fan of circle lenses that enlarge the size of your irises but I think these were designed nicely and the sizing of this pair of contacts has some enlargement without it looking entirely unnatural.

The contacts came within 2-3 weeks of me being notified but due to New Zealand’s wonderful customs they went through the package before it arrived at the post shop, nothing was damaged fortunately enough! The packaging feels sturdy enough and honestly the little stickers on the front made me smile all the way home, even now I’m still grinning looking at the wee stickers!

The contacts themselves came in a little wicker looking box which I thought was absolutely adorable and lord knows how weak I am for presentation so it was a really nice touch to know that Solution-Lens likes to put effort into these sorts of things! The box was wrapped up in heaps of bubble wrap for security which admittedly I’ve been spending a lot of my time popping while writing up this review!

They contacts came with the box, a contact case and the contacts themselves but on the side I received two cute wee gifts! An adorable mouse pen that you use by pushing down on the ears:

And a pair of bear earrings I unfortunately can’t wear because of my gauges, we’ll have to wait until I get my doubles! (I can make it work until then though uwu)

After unwrapping the contacts from my current new obsession (coughs bubble wrap) to occupy my hands, and fawning over the earrings and box which were all kept with the lenses, I was able to see there was still more bubble wrap around the vials for extra security! Everything fit inside the little box quite nicely I have to say!!!

I’m happy to say the contact case came in a lovely shade of blue, the size of the containers are absolutely wonderful and were able to hold all of the fluid from inside the vials!

I found it really handy how the containers from solution-lens are actually labelled left and right!

the contacts as you can see without even being taken out of the vials yet are extremely vibrant in pigmentation which is a necessity for me concerning contacts since my eyes are quite dark, like I said earlier I wasn’t expecting the colour to turn out as nicely as it did since I wasn’t very sure on the coverage nor the intensity of the colour or if it’d entirely blend into my naturally hazel eyes! Thankfully they turned out bright enough as you can see above and it was a wonderful surprise!

Here’s an up close, you can see the small sunburst of a light brown/beige on the inner part of the contact and how the colour blends out into a nice ring of forest green, I think the contrast is quite pretty and the transition between shades is a lovely touch to the design ???

Overall I definitely recommend solution-lens to anybody looking for quality service and fantastic contacts, the website is easy to navigate around and you’re sure to get an answer very quickly from the staff of solution-lens if you flick them a message

I also recommend these particular contacts if you want maximum comfort and intense colour, they’re extremely cute on top of it with their almost obre like design and the rest of the Shinny Series makes me so unbelievably happy, they’re just so pretty! These are right up there with my personal favourite EOS Dolly Eye Grey which you can see in my most recent Levi cosplay photos (for example; 1 2 )
