Today I am going to be talking about circle lenses. Circle lenses are made to help bring out the color of your eyes or change the color.
For fashion wear or everyday wear many of us wear circle lenses. In fact I think circle lenses are extremely popular and many men/woman wear them around the world.
I have been given the opportunity to try out Solution-Lens.com Circle Lenses. I received the Dueba Honey Barbie Lenses in Blue. Diameter 14.5 mm, water content 38% and base curve 8.6. These lenses are non prescription meaning they have no prescription like glasses or regular clear contact lenses have. So if you are like myself and need prescribed lenses I suggest just wearing your glasses with them too. Its actually super kawaii!

The lenses came in the mail one week after I contacted the company. The package was wrapped extremely well. The lenses were in this little box which can be used for other things. I have many pictures of it. The lenses were wrapped in bubble wrap so they wouldn’t break while being shipped across the world. I was extremely pleased with the package arrival.
Once I received the package I ripped it open like a child at Christmas. I was so excited. I then took the contacts out of the bottles and then put them in the palm of my hands. Then I poured contact solution on them and rubbed them lightly. This helps get off all the saline that is in the bottle and on the lenses.
Do not just put the lenses in right after opening them. I suggest waiting a day letting them soak in your favorite contact lens solution. You need a contact solution when having circle lenses. Do NOT use water or your own saliva (gross) to wet your lenses down. Contact solution is a must when owning any sort of contact lenses. If you cannot buy contact solution don’t get circle lenses.
Prescribed contact lenses that are clear and colored circle lenses are different. Circle lenses are bigger and you must realize that they won’t feel the same as regular prescribed contact lenses. They are comfortable but you do have to get used to the fact they are slightly bigger than your regular contact lenses you get at your eye doctors.
I am used to putting in and taking out lenses so it was easy for me. If you are a beginner be sure your nails aren’t sharp. That could really hurt your eye and damage your lenses. With that being said don’t use lenses that are ripped. If yours are ripped just throw them away. There is no way to fix it. Once you get the hang of taking out and putting in lenses it will be simple and quick. Be sure to thoroughly wash your hands with anti bacterial soap before you take out your lenses and put them in.
I wore the Deuba blue lenses for a couple hours while filming YouTube videos and taking pictures but I’m sure you can wear them up to like 8 hours. Like other lenses don’t EVER sleep in them. I was pleased with the wear of the lenses. They were easy to get used to as they were my first colored circle lenses I have ever worn.
I was able to easily take them out and put them in. Be sure you put them in the right way. I have learned if you put the lens on your finger and look them they should look like a little bowl and the suction cup (which suctions to your eyeball- sounds gory!)- is on the rim of the bowl. Its easier to tell with colored circle lenses because the brighter color will be the outside of the lens.
For the color of the lenses they have so many different shades of lenses. The blue color I received is a bright blue that makes my light blue eyes POP. They looked so good! I was so happy I finally had bright blue eyes. It was cool because the outside rim of my eyes were bright blue and the inner part was light blue. It reminded me of the ocean.
From greens to pinks. Halloween special effect ones. Solution-Lens has it all. They carry many different brands and sizes so don’t be afraid to take a peek at their website. There are so many more lenses I’d love to try! You can be anyone when you change your eye color. A mermaid or a witch. Blue eyes or brown eyes. Eyes are the windows to the soul so why not make them change every once in awhile?
