Circle lens review : Vassen Alice Brown

So I’m finally posting my review on one of my favorite brown lenses the vassen alice brown. These lenses were purchased from solutionlens (solution-lens.com). I’ve had these for a while and I wear these in a lot of my photos because I really like the design and it photographs really well. So here is the lens info:

Brand: Vassen
Diameter: 15.0 mm
Water content: 55%
Base curve 8.6
Life span: 1 year disposable (recommended use for 4-6 months)

Here is how the lenses look like on itself:

What I like about these lenses is that it has a thin black outer ring which really enlarges the eyes and makes the eyes pop. It gives a 3D effect, really defining the iris. These lenses are similar to the Dueba Max Pure Brown but the only difference would probably be that the outer black ring in this is more defined whereas in the Max Pure Brown it’s more blended and hazy. The lenses are really big, being 15.0, which is probably the only downside for me because I don’t like lenses that are too big. The biggest I usually go is probably 14.5 mm.

My thoughts:
Comfort: ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ (5/5)
These lenses are really comfortable and have a decent water content. I am able to wear these for a whole day without much irritation.

Design/Pattern: ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ (5/5)
I love the design. The brown is light enough to show up and is a very subtle design and the thin outer black ring really defines the iris and gives overall a very pretty look.
Color: ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ (4/5)
The color was light enough to show on the eyes but the brown leaned more towards a yellow. I would like it better if it was more brown than yellow but overall it’s very good.

Enlargement: ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ (5/5)
The 15.0 mm diameter is more than enough to enlarge your eyes, giving you a dolly, anime-like look. This is too big in my opinion since I tend to lean towards smaller lenses but for those looking for  very enlarging lenses with a dolly effect these are perfect for you.
