Halloween Sugar Skull Makeup Tutorial

Sugarskulls are famous to be used on “Dia de los Muertos” or “Day of the Dead”, Mexican holiday, These ornate skulls are stunning in their details and perfect for those who want more than just typical skull look for Halloween. Here, NoyNeung shows us how to create this creativity stunning look.

Starting with primer, tap a small amount of primer and blend all over your clean face.
Apply water-soluble glue stick to conceal the eyebrows making sure to evenly apply it in the same direction. Wait until the glue set and then use white eyeliner to outline eyes and nose. Apply white paint foundation all over your face, also use makeup brush to blend it all together and set with white powder.
Apply red makeup cream or red matte lipstick in large circles around your eyes and use amber brown eyeshadow to blend all around the edge.
Outline the flower petals with your chosen black eyeliner and also paint on your nose to create a skeleton depth.
Use pink matte lipstick to fill inside the flower petals, draw heart shapes between circles, cheeks and paint your chin.
Use black eyeliner to outline the lips, draw a spiderweb in the middle of your forehead and continue with the liner to create a skeleton-like line extending from the mouth to the ear.
Use a dark brown or gray eyeshadow to blend on your cheekbones and spiderwebs to create depth.
You can light up this Sugar Skull makeup look by adding some details like colorful headkerchief, glue the white lace on your neck and add the bunch of flowers on top and keep it glam.
