I recently ordered some contact lenses from solutions-lens.com and one of these were the GEO Bambi Chocolate Brown lens. I’ve owned a pair of GEO Bambi green lens before so I was sure these were gonna be great and they were.

Solution-lens’ customer service is just superb. They are doing a buy two pair get one pair free special so I had to write which lens I wanted as the free pair. But I accidently put down the wrong link and I only realised after they sent me an email with my order. I asked if I could change it and they responded really quickly to my email and changed my order for me.
PACKAGING AND DELIVERY
I put the order in on 21/05/13 and I recieved the parcel on 04/06/13 so it arrived in exactly 2 weeks as was stated on the website. The parcel was wrapped very nicely with bubble wrap (which I couldn’t stop playing with) and a little woven box. I thought the stickers on the parcel was very cute too :)

I really liked the colour of these lens because they were pretty natural in general and the gradient in the middle makes it all the more natural-looking. This also gives the eyes a nice doll like effect.

The bambi series is definitely a comfortable one for a 15mm lens. I wore it for 6 hours and only experienced a little bit of dryness with no redness present. It’s also a very thin lens series so you can barely tell it’s there.
LENS ENLARGEMENT [5/5]
The enlargement is very obvious without it giving the eye a ‘straining’ look. The black ring on the outside also gives the illusion of the eye being rounder and bigger.
OVERALL [4/5]
I expected no less from the Bambi Series since the green one I previously owned and I reckon the brown one is a very good choice for any occasion since it’s very natural looking. It’s comfortable so wearing it for a long time will be fine.
I have very high regards for solution-lens.com for their good customer service and also their cheap price and I will definitely buy from them again. The only thing that I would want them to change is that they do not sell EOS lens. But they do have a huge range of GEO, Vassen and Deuba lens.

Colour/Design: 5/5 This is the exact colour of blue I was hoping for! They are a bright blue in the sunlight, but when put with my dark black/brown natural eye colour they turn into a subtle navy colour that is very wearable and natural looking. So many people kept trying to guess why I looked different but not one guessed my lenses until I pointed them out. They have a navy blue limbal ring which helps to blend the colour out, as well as a black sketch design coming from the center of the lens.
Enlargement: 3/5 Late Night Lamp Light
It is a standard 14mm lens, so the enlargement isn't that big. This helps create a more natural look that is very wearable and appropriate for all occasions. I would say these lenses focus more on the colour and design then the size of the lens.
Comfort: 5/5 3 hours in at work ;)
These lenses are my most comfortable Geo lens to date. The actually feel in the same range as my Vassen lenses which have a water content of around 42%. I wore them for at least 6 hours without remembering they were contacts, and with no drying or discomfort.

These lenses are definitely a hit, not just with me but also my mom and boyfriend, who both usually hate my contacts. The colour is gorgeous on dark eyes, and would go really nicely with light eyes as well. They are comfortable and very trendy, and I cant wait to wear them again!
Witch costume is one of the best ideas for a Halloween party. The essential accessory to carry with you to complete your witch costume is the broom. Magical of course, a witch can fly when ridding this broom. You can use this broom for decoration and create a unique Halloween atmosphere.
How to make your witch broom ?
The first technique is pretty simple to do, use an old broom stick and a bundle of sticks attached at the end with strings or raffias because it looks natural and it's eco-friendly. Tie the bundle of sticks strongly with the broom. To make your broom looks more magical, paint it in black and stick some bright stickers stars on it.
Another method that can be done by adults and children and cost almost nothing if you live in the countryside is the following: find a tree branch, no matter if you can't find a straight one, actually it's even better. Once you have your stick, attach the bundle of sticks to the big stick as we have explained earlier.
And finally the last possibility if you have a broom stick but no bundle of sticks. Cut thick papers bands or fabrics bands about 12 to 15 inches. You can use your grandma's wool yarns or something more sophisticated as colorful nylon mesh, black, green and violet which are colors associated to witches. Once you have chosen your material attach it to your stick using for example a colorful orange ribbon, because this is ''the'' Halloween color.

We propose you to create a low cost costume of Captain America with almost nothing except the things that you already have at home
All you need is a good sense of humor and a bit of imagination. I won't lie but you can guess that a costume made from scratch won't be the exact copy of favorite comic book character, but who cares as long as we can recognize the super hero ?
Today we are going to focus on Captain America only, as you have seen the picture illustrating this article: we are going to create the cheap version of Captain America. Do you see the happiness in the eyes of that guy wearing his homemade costume. This man is a specialist of DIY cosplay and he is doing really incredible costumes with almost nothing.
The master piece of this Captain America costume is the shield of the hero. This guy got the insane idea to create Captain America's shield with a fan. To do like him just grab a brush or a marker and paint the blades of the fan, start from the edge and paint one third of each blade in red, then another third of the blades in white and finish with the last third with two stripes of red and blue. Cover back the fan with its grid and add a white star in a blue circle background. You can make this star with your computer and print it or you can trim stickers. Once these operations are done turn on the fan, congratulations you just get a cool Captain America's shield.
Now let's make the costume of Captain America. As you noticed Captain America's costume main color is blue, go to your wardrobe and try to get blue pants and blue T-shirt, once you've found them put them on. Captain America has on his costume the stomach part coverved with white and red vertical stripes. To make this our friend just wrapped his stomach with a white paper on which he has drawn red stripes. A pair of red boots will be needed as well for the bottom part of the costume. If infortunatly you don't have any red boots you can wrap your feets until your calf.
The costume is now almost completed but an important part is missing, the head. A Captain America without mask won't be Captain America. To make your mask easily as our fake hero did, go to your drawer and grab a blue speedo or underpants. Cover you head with the underwear and put the holes where your legs are supposed to be, in front of your eyes. The final touch of your helmet will be the white A and the wings, you can make the little wings with two badminton birdies.
The final result is quite awesome, if you don't like it maybe you are experiencing a lack of humor !

but these lenses are pretty sticky(?) which is why it was hard to put in at first compared to my Beuberry Poppy Brown so once you give it a little push you can see the halo effect
its basically just showing more of the whites of your eyes, so from far away it has a glassy and distant sort of look

These almost looked exactly the same as my beuberry poppy brown ones, which are 16mm so these 14.8mm ones did a really good job on the enlargment!!

Ok these lenses were alright on the comfort side. Like i said before, these lenses were sticky(?) so i had a difficult time putting them in.
When i wear them, it bothers my right eye a bit and after a while it’s sort of alright.
I wouldn’t wear these for too long though.

These are probably one of the most famous lenses out there, the GEO Nudy series^^ I like these a lot, but if they were a bit more comfortable they would be my favorite pair of all time

Here are the lenses in the case provided by Solution-lens. As you can see they are a light green with a light yellowish brown color towards the center. Appearance: I love the enlargement effect! They were much larger than I am used to! Keeping in mind my last pair was 14.2 mm. I feel like they definitely drew attention to my eyes. I am absolutely in love with the color, it reminds me of a forest fairy! In real life they are an amazing bright green combined with my blue eyes! However, on the photos they aren't as bright, but more of a deep emerald color.

Comfort: Comfort was very good, after minute or two you could hardly tell they were in, my eyes didn't feel dry until a while later. Since these lenses were larger then my last I could feel they were in a little bit. I didn't have as much trouble trying to get them in as before. Shipping: Shipping was what is to be expected from another country, like many orders from overseas it took a week or two. It arrive very very well packed, I had a hard time getting through all the bubble wrap! The lenses were very safe with this packing! As you can see in the picture they also had cute little stickers on the parcel.

I was a little bit wary of ordering another violet lens after my Geo Nudy Violet ones were such a disappointing color. But the description said these Aloha lenses woul be noticeable, and boy were they right! This is what they look like compared to my nudies:

Yes, they do show a very noticeable color! Both with flash and without. Plus, the color is the lovely lavender violet I have been searching for all my life. I have a very cool complexion, and these lenses are very cool-toned, so they work great. Very happy with the color!

Don't mind me, I was having a weird looking day...
The design of the Alohas is very dramatic. Thick black limbal ring, and a very opaque colored center. If you look closely at colored part, it kind of looks like mesh fabric. It doesn't have the little uncolored spaces that most other lenses have, which allows your natural color to peek through and blend. This is good, because it allows for a more noticeable color, but the lens isn't translucent at all, so it definitely doesn't look natural. I wear this lens out at night for a sexy, dramatic look, but it certainly is not an every day lens.

Comfort: No problems here- Duebas never really cause me discomfort though. Even for such an opaque lens, these feel very breathable.

Enlargment: These lenses are 14.5mm. With the help of the dark limbal ring, they are definitely enlarging. 14.5 is the largest I am willing to go. Otherwise, the lenses look alien.

Color/Design: 10/10 I didn't chose these lenses for the design, but for the color. Either way, the design is pretty basic but very nice. And the color is really vibrant. You can easily tell they're blue from far away. They're a semi-natural bright blue but if you're looking for lenses that are really natural, these aren't the ones for you. The color and design is really lovely though and I love them.
Enlargement: 8/10 The size is big but when you have them on they're not noticably large. Maybe it's just me because all my lenses are 15.00 mm and I'm too used to huge lenses. o3o
Comfort: 8/10 There are times where these lenses irritate my eyes. Either they feel stingy or too dry. I believe the stingy-ness is from lack of proper care for lenses (sometimes I'm rushing through cleaning them when putting them on so it's probably a my bad).
Overall: 10/10 I love these contacts so much! Everything about them is wonderful. I really needed lenses like these for my Supernatural genderbend Castiel (Castiela) cosplay and these are just perfect. I must have the red, pink, and violet ones from the same series. ?(´?????`?)

What is the natural color of your eyes? My eyes are a REALLY dark brown. Nearly black. The only time the brown is noticeable is when they're in direct sunlight or colored contacts like green or blue are on (as seen on previous pictures). What are your favorite contact lenses colors and brands? I love really bright, icy color lenses. I never really care for natural lenses unless they're a pretty color. My favorite brands are Geo and Vassen. Do you often wear color lenses (which brands?) I wear circle lenses on a daily basis when school was in. ? After my good experience with EOS (review) and Dueba (review) and the badly with Geo (review), I sampled this time Vassen and yes what can I say? It was the same as with EOS and Dueba. It's felt fresh, it's didn't hurt and my eyes are not tears. I wore my Vassen Gummi Series 2 Tone in the last time every day more as 6 hours and I have never problems with dry eyes or tears. For me personality is that a big Point for this brand. The Vassen Gummi Series 2 Tone have a diameter from 15mm and a lot of black color, never before I wore so a big size lens, normality only 14,5mm and so it was in the first moment a wow effect as I saw in my face. However this pair is more for a dramatic or Gyaru/Ulzzang Make up, but never for a casual. The best option that you wear your Vassen Gummi Series 2 Tone with bottom and upper lashes. Do you see I have green-grey nature eye color and I ordered the Vassen Gummi Series in grey, but it doesn't. You can see of the bellow picture that Solution-lens.com send me the right color, it's not her fault, but in my eyes it looks more green as grey. For me is that a big minus point. I have no idea if it's in dark nature eyes grey or not.
To the design, it's a different to the Circle Lenses what I wear normal, but I love it.

Review. The Geo Extra Amor Ribbon lenses were very amazing lenses and had a very unique raffle ribbon design and were like none other lenses I have tried in the past The design really got a 9.5/10 Comfort. Theses lenses were actually very comfortable...for 15.0 mm, it was very tricky at first since they were bigger then others it took awhile for my eye to adjust and be fully comfortable. I would recommend them for people but if you do purchase them and they do feel uncomfortable I really recommend for you to adjust so on a weekend where them for 30 minutes to 1 hour to so on and so on, so your eyes could learn to adjust. For comfort the lenses receive a 7.5-8.5/10

Vibrancy. 10/10 they can be seen :) I have brown eyes so they show really well. And sometimes when lenses are TOO BLUE they can look scary but, the lenses gave off a very cute and interesting look.
Shipping/Packaging. 10/10 really nice packaging and extra extra bubble wrap :) the lenses come within 1-2 weeks. Which is really fast thinking sometimes how slow my other lenses come from malaysia,hongkong, korea but is was very exceptional. Overall. 9.5/10

If you want to save money doing your own costume instead of buying it in a store, you should start right now the cowboy hat part because it is the most difficult.
To make a cowboy hat there are two techniques.
The fastest technique is the easiest too. Design on a paperboard a hat that you will cut and fold following the photo above.
The other more realistic way to make a cowboy hat is to use a thick paperboard to do the base ring and make the top part with papier-mâché.
Start by making the top part roughly with paperboard and scotch tape.
Now you can start with your papier-mâché, but trim many long newspaper stripes first. Then you have to prepare the mix that we are going to use as glue, this mixture will be hard once it is dry. The recipe is simple and you just need to pour some white flour in a bowl, add water slowly and stir the mix at the same time (you can use a mixer to avoid any lumps).
You can decide now how your paste should look, for the first time you should make a paste not too liquid but not too thick, you will adjust your recipe when you really know what you need, the only way is practice.
Now that you get your paste all you need to do is to soak in your newspaper stripes and start to apply them on the rough top hart part that you prepared earlier. Try to give nice smooth shapes to the top and don't forget to glue the ring part with your papier-mâché, wait until it is dry and paint it in brown or black.
To make the rest of the cowboy costume, try to find an old checked shirt, a vest on which you can eventually put a sherif star and a red bandana around your neck and under your collar. For the lower part, blue jeans will be perfect, with boots or leather shoes.
You can improve your Halloween costume with accessories like a plastic gun that you put in it's olster or just in your belt. You can also have fun making a fake horse with cardboard and broom stick. Draw the horse head on a paper and put it on one stick extremity, now your horse is ready and you can ride it.
Because it is Halloween, why don't you combine this cowboy costume with a zombie costume ? It will be very awesome !
